Much of her work is concentrated in trauma, depression/anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, social skills, and grief/loss. Kara believes that counseling is a process that works best when clients are provided a safe space to explore any issues and feelings with understanding and without the concern of judgement. Kara most often works from a client centered, strengths-based model when providing counseling. When Kara is not counseling, she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, going out to eat, and being active.
